Details and Cost here $245?? ..Our birth doula certification program is designed to support doulas in achieving a comprehensive training that prepares them to provide confident, compassionate, and culturally responsive care while also meeting California state requirements for becoming an Medi-cal approved doula.
To become a Kindred Certified Birth Doula (KCBD), the following requirements must be completed:

8 hour of general childbirth education

16 hour doula training/workshop
-
3 hour lactation for birth professionals class*

Completion of the Kindred Birth Doula Mentorship Program (up to 42 additional educational hours)

CPR certificate
-
HIPPA compliance training certificate
-
Attend at least one consultation, one prenatal visit, and one labor/birth.

Attend the Kindred Becoming a Medi-cal Approved Doula workshop.*
